World War IIHMT Rosemonde
The HMT Rosemonde was a former trawler converted into a minesweeper in the British Navy. The vessel was torpedoed on January 19, 1942, by the German U-boat U-581, east of the Azores. The entire crew perished in the sinking, including one Norwegian.
