World War IIMS Vibran

MV Vibran was on a journey from Cardiff to Halifax without cargo. Vibran was traveling alone westwards because of its speed. According to German reports the ship was torpedoed 23h of September 1942 by the German U-boat U-582 at 4245N, 4245W. Everyone aboard the ship died. One reason for the deaths of the crew and passengers might be the heavy winds in the area around the route to Vibran. 37 from the crew og 10 passengers perished in the sinking.
