World War IIMT Daghild

MT Daghild was damaged on September 12, 1942, in a torpedo attack by the German U-boat U-404 but managed to continue with the convoy. On February 7, 1943, the ship was torpedoed again, this time by U-608, with fatal consequences, and it sank. Fortunately, the entire crew survived the second torpedoing.
