World War IISS Ville d’Arlon

The Belgian SS Ville d’Arlon was torpedoed on December 2, 1940, by the German U-boat U-47. The ship was en route from New York via Halifax to Liverpool with a cargo of general goods. Unfortunately, the entire crew of 57 people perished.
