World War IITS Tana

TS Tana was interned in Safi by Vichy France from June 22, 1940. In 1941, the ship was put into service with a French crew and later taken over by the Germans in 1942. It was sunk by Allied aircraft off Sardinia on May 24, 1943. The wreck was attempted to be salvaged after the war but sank again afterward.
