World War IIMT Herborg

MT Herborg was captured on June 19, 1942, by the German commerce raider HSK Thor in the Indian Ocean. The crew was sent to Japanese captivity. The ship was renamed Hohen-Friedeburg by the Germans but was later sunk on February 26, 1943, by the British cruiser HMS Sussex near the Azores while en route to France.
