World War IISS Papalemos

The Greek SS Papalemos was torpedoed on May 28, 1941, by the German U-boat U-107 west of Freetown. The ship was en route from Rosario and Montevideo to the United Kingdom with a cargo of grain. Two people perished in the sinking.
