World War IIMS Bidevind

The MS Bidevind was torpedoed on April 30, 1942, by the German U-boat U-752 off Atlantic City. The vessel was en route from Bombay via Cape Town to New York with manganese ore. The entire crew survived the sinking and reached land after a 12-hour voyage.
