World War IIDS Sardinen

SS Sardinen was sunk on November 14, 1944, by British aircraft in Sognefjorden. One man lost his life in the attack. The vessel was towed into shallow waters and sank. In 1945, Sardinen was raised and towed to Haugesund shipyard for repairs. The ship was still in service as of 2020.
