World War IIMT Victoliti

The Canadian MT Victoliti was sunk on February 11, 1942, by the German U-boat U-564 off Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. The vessel was en route from Halifax to Las Piedras, Venezuela, in ballast. The entire crew of 47 perished in the sinking.
