World War IISS Liguria
The Swedish SS Liguria was torpedoed on 29 March 1941 by the German U-boat U-46. The vessel was sailing in convoy from Dunster to Las Palmas carrying coal. Sixteen persons, including one Norwegian, lost their lives in the sinking, while ten were rescued.
