World War IIMV Stureholm

The MV Stureholm was torpedoed on 12 December 1940 by the German U-boat U-96. The vessel was en route from Halifax to the United Kingdom, loaded with 6,850 tons of scrap iron, which caused the ship to sink in just 11 minutes. There were no survivors from the crew of 32 men, including five Norwegians.
