World War IISS Carmona

The Panamanian-registered SS Carmona was torpedoed on 18 July 1942 by the German U-boat U-160. The vessel was en route from Rosario, Buenos Aires, and Trinidad to Edgewater. Four lives were lost in the sinking, while thirty-one persons were rescued.
