World War IIDS Hosanger

The DS Hosanger departed Gothenburg on 26 January 1940 in ballast, bound for Leith, Scotland. On 27 January 1940, the vessel was torpedoed by the German U-boat U-20 in the North Sea. Seventeen men lost their lives in the sinking, while one man was rescued.
