World War IIGøte Gustavson

Gøte Gustavson was on MS Herstein which was attacked by japanese aircraft in Rabaul, New Britan. The crew was captured and sent aboard the SS Montevideo Maru. Died july 1, 1942 when the Japanese ship was sunk in the Pacific Ocean on the way to Japan. None of the 1054 prisoners on board were rescued.
