World War IIron barque Norma
Iron barque Norma was shot and sunk on March 1, 1917, by the German U-boat U-58, north of Shetland. The ship was en route from Savannah to Århus, carrying a cargo of oil cakes. One person lost their life in the shipwreck. The rest of the crew was later rescued by a British patrol ship.
