World War ISteel barque Silius
Steel barque Silius was torpedoed by the German U-boat UB-18 on March 9, 1916, off the coast of Le Havre. The ship was en route from New York to Le Havre, carrying a cargo of barley and grain. Three people lost their lives in the shipwreck.
