World War IIDS Akabahra

SS Akabahra was sunk by German aircraft on January 7, 1943, off the coast of Algiers. The ship was en route from Algiers to Bone carrying railroad tracks and sleepers. The entire crew survived the sinking and was picked up by other ships shortly afterward.
