World War IDS Bard

DS Bard was torpedoed on December 11, 1917, by the German U-boat U-60 north of Godrevys Head. The ship was en route from Glasgow to Hennebont with a cargo of 800 tons of coal. Seven persons lost their lives in the shipwreck, while six were rescued. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
