World War IIDS Bisp

The DS Bisp was torpedoed on 23 January 1940 by the German U-boat U-18 in the North Sea. The vessel was en route from Sunderland to Åndalsnes with a cargo of coal and coke. On 16 February 1940, the ship was officially declared missing. The entire crew of 14 perished in the sinking.
