World War IIDS Bjørnungen
The DS Bjørnungen was attacked by the Soviet torpedo boat TKA-12 on 6 October 1941 and sank off Kirkenes. Seven crew members lost their lives in the sinking. The vessel was en route between Mosjøen and Kirkenes.
