World War IISS Christiansborg

The Danish SS Christiansborg was torpedoed on March 21, 1940, by the German U-boat U-38 in the North Sea. The vessel was en route from Philadelphia to Fredericia, Denmark. One person lost their life in the sinking, and 24 were rescued.
