World War IIDS Erling Lindøe

The Norwegian DS Erling Lindøe was blown up by a mine on 11 August 1944, five nautical miles off Nidingen Lighthouse near Varberg on the Swedish west coast. The vessel was en route from Ballangen to Germany with a cargo of pyrite. Thirteen people were lost in the sinking.
