World War IDS Facto

DS Facto was torpedoed on September 16th, 1917, by the German U-boat UB-18 off Lizard in Mounts Bay. The ship was en route from Le Havre to Cardiff in ballast. Two people lost their lives in the shipwreck. The survivors were rescued by an American destroyer.
