World War IDS Fram
DS Fram disappeared in December 1914 while on a journey from Hull to Dieppe with a cargo of coal and coke. The entire crew of 12 perished in the wreck. In March 1915, a lifeboat from the ship was found on the Jæren coast, and later a lifebuoy marked with the ship’s name.
