World War IIDS Frank Seamans
SS Frank Seamans was torpedoed on May 7, 1942, by the German U-boat U-162 near Surinam Red. The ship was en route from Paramaribo to Port of Spain, Trinidad. The entire crew survived the torpedoing and was picked up the following day by a Dutch vessel.
