World War IDS Fridtjof Nansen
DS Fridtjof Nansen was mine-damaged on January 5, 1916, by a mine from the German U-boat UC-10 southwest of Galloper lightship. The ship was en route from Bone to Rotterdam, carrying artificial fertilizer. Two people lost their lives in the shipwreck. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
