World War IIDS Galtesund
DS Galtesund was captured by a group of Norwegian resistance fighters on March 15, 1942, near Flekkefjord and taken to Great Britain. During the remainder of the war, the ship sailed along the coast of Great Britain and to Iceland. After the war, Galtesund was returned to Norway and continued in regular service until it was scrapped in 1956.
