World War IDS Grane
DS Grane was torpedoed by the German U-boat UB-80 on March 9, 1918, off Portland Bill. The ship was en route from Swansea to Rouen, France, carrying coal. Two people lost their lives in the shipwreck. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
