World War IIDS Gudrid

The DS Gudrid was docked at Menstad in Skien on 30 March 1945 when the port facility was subjected to a British air raid. Gudrid was severely damaged and later sank. One man lost his life in the attack. The vessel was returned to service after the war and continued operating under various owners until it was scrapped in 1965.
