World War IDS Gyller
DS Gyller sank on September 9, 1918, after running aground near the Phare du Four lighthouse in Brittany, France. The ship was en route from Newport Mon to Hennebont carrying coal. Twelve people lost their lives in the shipwreck, while two were rescued.
