World War IIDS Havbris
The Norwegian DS Havbris was carrying a cargo of wood pulp from Namsen when, on 27 January 1945, the vessel ran aground and later sank in a severe storm at Ulveskjærene near Songvår Lighthouse, southeast of Kristiansand. The entire crew was lost with the ship. Havbris was en route from Salsbruket to Hamburg with timber.
