World War IDS Hundvaagø

DS Hundvaagø was torpedoed by the German U-boat UB-88 on August 4, 1918, off Ile de Groiz. The ship was en route from Bordeaux to Cardiff in ballast (without cargo). Two people lost their lives in the shipwreck. On April 4 of the same year, the ship had been damaged in a torpedo attack but had managed to stay afloat. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
