World War IDS Ingrid II

DS Ingrid II was sunk by the German U-boat U-60 on December 19, 1917. The ship was en route from Barry to Boucau, carrying a cargo of coal. Ten people lost their lives in the shipwreck, and seven survivors were rescued by a British patrol vessel. (Sources: Sjø and “Norsk skib i verdenskrigen”)
