World War IIDS Janna

The SS Janna was torpedoed on July 11, 1940, by the German U-boat U-34 near Fastnet Rock. The vessel was en route from Halifax to Falmouth with pulp. The entire crew survived the sinking and was rescued by a British patrol boat after two days.
