World War IDS Langeli
DS Langeli was sunk by the German U-boat UB-29 on March 20, 1916, while at anchor near Corton Lightship, Lowestoft. The ship was en route from Rouen, France, to Blyth in ballast (without cargo). One person lost his life in the shipwreck. The survivors rowed in lifeboats to the Danish ship Arne. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
