World War IISS Lars Magnus Trozelli
The Swedish SS Lars Magnus Trozelli was torpedoed on 1 January 1940 by the German U-boat U-58 northeast of Frazerburg. The vessel was en route from Norrköping to Blyth in ballast. Seven lives were lost in the sinking, including one Norwegian. Fifteen men were rescued the same day by the Norwegian ship Ask.
