World War IDS Lorna
DS Lorna was sunk by the German U-boat U-62 on August 7, 1918. The ship was en route from New York to Le Havre, carrying general cargo. One person lost his life in the shipwreck. The survivors were gathered in a lifeboat and later rescued by a British patrol boat after two days. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
