World War IIDS Marga
The DS Marga was the first Allied merchant ship to arrive in Reggio, Italy, during the Allied invasion on 5 September 1943. On 3 October 1943, an explosion occurred on board while the vessel was docked in Cotrone, Italy. The ship was lost in the English Channel in 1951.
