World War IDS Noris
DS Noris was torpedoed on December 19, 1917, by the German U-boat UB-54 northwest of Port-en-Bessin. The ship was en route from Swansea to Le Havre carrying a cargo of coal. The entire crew of 14 people lost their lives in the shipwreck. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
