World War IIDS Oria

SS Oria was interned on June 22, 1940, in Casablanca by Vichy French authorities, and the Norwegian crew was sent to a prison camp. The ship was transferred to Vichy France in 1941 and later to the German merchant navy in 1942. On February 13, 1944, the ship was sunk by Allied forces in the Aegean Sea.
