World War IDS Ravn
DS Ravn was sunk by the German U-boat U-46 on September 29, 1916, off the Kola Peninsula. The ship was en route from Skien to Arkhangelsk carrying ammonium nitrate. Ten people lost their lives in the shipwreck: five disappeared in a lifeboat, and five others died from exhaustion and frostbite. Three people were later rescued.
