World War IIDS Samev
The DS Samev was attacked by Allied aircraft off Stad in April 1942, resulting in severe injuries to one man, who died on 22 April 1942. The vessel was later blown up in a sabotage operation on 19 May 1943 while docked in Moss, causing it to sink and resulting in the deaths of two men. The ship was salvaged and remained in service after the war until it was scrapped in 1964.
