World War IDS Skrymer
DS Skrymer was torpedoed by the German U-boat UC-77 on March 10, 1918, off Pendeen in the Bristol Channel. The ship was en route from Port Talbot to Rouen, France, carrying coal. Two people lost their lives in the shipwreck. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
