World War IDS Sørhaug
DS Sørhaug was sunk on October 17, 1917, by the two German cruisers SMS Brummer and SMS Bremse off the coast of Shetland. The ship was en route from Haugesund to Hull carrying general cargo, as part of a convoy from Marsteinen to Lerwick. One person lost his life in the shipwreck. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
