World War IDS Tiro
DS Tiro was torpedoed by the German U-boat UB-57 on December 29, 1917, northwest of Cape Lizard. The ship was en route from Barry to Rouen carrying a cargo of coal. Eight people lost their lives in the shipwreck. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
