World War IIDT Marit II
ST Marit II was damaged by a torpedo from the German uboat U-404 on September 11th 1942. On September 13th 1946 the ship got hit by severe weather and broke in half. The captain and his wife as well as ten sailors of the crew perished in the sinking.
