World War IIMS Breñas

MS Breñas was torpedoed on August 7, 1942, by the German U-boat U-108. The ship’s captain was taken aboard the submarine, while the rest of the crew set a course for British Guiana and were rescued by the coast guard from Trinidad on August 12, 1942. Unfortunately, one person perished in the sinking.
