World War IIMS Dagfred
The MS Dagfred was sunk on 6 April 1942 by a group of Japanese warships in the Bay of Bengal. The crew took to the boats, but they were fired upon by the warships, and several were wounded by the gunfire. The injured were sent to a hospital in Secunderabad, India. One man lost his life in the sinking.
