World War IIMK Nygrunn
The Norwegian motor vessel Nygrunn was blown up by a mine on 19 April 1945. The vessel was en route from Husøy to Båtsfjord with a cargo of fish, following orders from the Norwegian resistance. Seven men were lost in the sinking.
